Mochitsuki is a Japanese New Year tradition where people pound steamed rice to make fresh mochi. Families and communities gather to take turns pounding and shaping the mochi, celebrating the start of the year. 1/1 from 11AM and 13PM.
KAKIZOME
Kakizome is a Japanese New Year tradition where people write their first calligraphy of the year to express hopes or goals. It symbolizes starting the year with a clear and positive mindset. From 1/1 - 5/1 at Center House.

Setsubun Festival
